HAB's RC Car Park is an outdoor asphalt Raceway located in Springfield, IL. Our raceway can convert from a flat oval to a road course.
We directly focus on the 1/12 Scale Losi NASCAR RC Race Cars, but others are welcomed to practice on the track.
There will two classes, Box Stock and Modified, so everyone can race no matter their budget or experience.
There will be five Series, Rookie (50%) - Box Stock, Intermediate (75%) - Box Stock, Pro - Box Stock, Pro NASTruck - Box Stock and Pro - Modified.
GENERAL RULES (For ALL Series)
Be Safe and Courteous: You are responsible for your car and equipment. Please don’t stand on the track or on any of the walls. No standing in the center of the track.
Transponders: You don’t need one to practice, but they are required on Race Days. SA Club Members will be assigned one when you sign up, along with a Y harness. A small hole is recommenced to be drilled under your left headlight to ensure an accurate reading.
Race Director: The Race Director's decision is final. If you have a question if its legal or illegal this is the person to ask.
Sportsmanship: Bad behavior, like intentionally hitting or ramming other cars, blocking, or using foul language, can get you disqualified and/or banned from the facilities.
Inspection: Your car may be inspected before each race. The inspectors have the final say on whether your car is legal. Box weight is 935grams, plus or minus a few.
Battery Safety: You should always charge all LiPo batteries in a LiPo-safe bag.

Laps will be tracked with the LapMonitor System
Each driver must have a LapMonitor transponder on Race Day to track their position and personal statistics. To ensure an accurate reading between the transponder and counter, a small hole is highly recommended to be drilled in the left headlight to ensure every driver has the same placement. (The race director will mount the transponder and drill the hole)
You can opt out of the drilled hole, but you run the risk of your laps not being counted.
